Working with Jo Ann to prepare for birth was an excellent experience. She connected me with workouts that were appropriate for each stage of the pregnancy and also educated us on all of the possibilities that birth can bring. The weekend Body Ready Method class was extremely helpful for my husband and I to know what to expect during labor and allowed us to communicate with each other and work as a team through all stages of labor. At the actual birth, we had a lot of things not go to plan and Jo Ann was a huge help to keeping me centered and accepting of each change that was required to birth a healthy baby. She also worked really well with the nurses and staff at the hospital and asked questions that we didn't think of. We would recommend Jo Ann to anyone looking for a doula as she is such a positive person to have rooting for you.
