I had a wonderful experience with Vanessa as my doula. I decided to hire a doula later in my pregnancy and could not have been happier I did. Vanessa was generous with her time in our prenatal visits, and was very knowledgeable and helpful in learning and preparing for a natural birth. As my due date approached, Vanessa checked in and offered great advice to make me feel very supported.
Most importantly, Vanessa helped me navigate my options and was a sounding board when it was recommended I be induced which was not my preferred plan. After a very long induction process and labor, Vanessa was essential to me having a very positive birth experience. She was a calming presence and helped make the delivery of our baby joyful and serene.
