Jessica supported my partner and me in equal measure.
In the pre sessions she was a fountain of knowledge and helped educate us on what to expect at the hospital, labour and breast feeding as well as discuss different options for the birth.
Jessica gave my partner confidence to be fully involved during the birth- by showing him how to massage / add pressure and when to do it so he didn’t feel like a third wheel.
Her main priority on the day was ensuring I was as comfortable as possible - adjusting my positions & keeping me very well watered ! As well as helpful with decision making.
Due to my waters breaking early I ended up getting induced, but successfully had a vaginal delivery with no pain meds and I am certain this is due to Jessica and the full team effort we had on the day.
I felt very supported throughout the whole process and it made me excited for labour as opposed to dreading it!
