Sarah an absolutely incredible support for myself and my family throughout the end of my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Sarah and Dani (the other half of the "Perinatal Embrace" dynamic duo) were professional, knowledgeable, passionate and kind throughout my time with them. From the first communication I felt comfortable and at ease with them, as well as confident in their knowledge and experience. While creating my birth plan, they were so awesome at sharing their knowledge, while at the same time making it clear that whatever I wanted for my birth was totally up to me. I unexpectedly went into labour at 34 weeks and Sarah was there for me at the hospital within just a couple hours of letting her know what was happening. After ensuring I was settled at the hospital and had everything I needed, Sarah and Dani maintained constant communication while I was admitted to the hospital for medication and monitoring. After two days I was in active labour and as soon as I let Sarah know, she was on her way to the hospital immediately. Sarah's presence was so comforting and made me feel calm and in control during the birth. My baby was in the NICU for three weeks after birth and Sarah and Dani checked in regularly, allowed me to share updates and just vent if needed, but I never felt pressured to respond if I was overwhelmed or had too much on my plate. I can't recommend Sarah (and Dani) enough!
