Shannon was everything my partner and I could have wanted or needed in a doula. Being first time parents, we wanted someone with knowledge and experience to help guide us through the prep for labor and delivery. I was also extremely nervous to actually give birth and talking to Shannon alleviated so much anxiety for both myself and my partner from the very first call. She helped us practice labor positions, educated us on possible decisions we'd have to make, and helped us form a thorough birth plan. I had some complications with the birth that made it more difficult to take care of our son than I expected, and Shannon was there to help with postpartum care. She helped with everything from helping take care of the baby to talking to us about how what we were feeling was totally normal. She went above and beyond for our family. I can't recommend her enough!
