I cannot say enough good things about Chelsea and her incredible doula services! Even before I went into labor, Chelsea took the time to meet with me for consultations to make sure she fully understood my birth plan and what I wanted — and didn’t want — during labor. She was very informative and provided me with so many helpful resources, which is something I didn’t receive with my first pregnancy. Because of her, I felt truly prepared and confident going into labor, knowing what to expect and how to handle it.
When labor began, and since my husband was working out of town and couldn’t be there right away, Chelsea stepped right in as soon as she arrived. She immediately had me doing different exercises to help position the baby and get things moving smoothly. Throughout the entire process, she was such a calm and supportive presence, constantly encouraging me, reminding me that I could do this, and giving me positive affirmations when I needed them most.
My goal was to have an unmedicated birth, and Chelsea fully supported me in that choice. She made sure my labor stayed aligned with my wishes and helped me through every step. Once my husband arrived, she also made sure he was involved and knew how to best support me, which meant a lot to both of us.
Overall, Chelsea went above and beyond. If I ever have another baby, I would absolutely hire her again in a heartbeat. She is hands down the best doula ever, and I am so grateful for her knowledge, support, and care. I truly couldn’t have done it without her!
