After my first baby 7 years ago and battling trauma from lack of transparency with my OB and laboring for 12 hours then having an emergency cesarean I was terrified of another birth trauma. After lengthy talks with my midwife when I was pregnant with our second we both decided that looking for a doula was important. I found cherish through another doula. Upon meeting Cherish I felt an immediate connection and deep understanding of what my goals were. She was helpful and a power house of knowledging leading up to being induced. She is made to be a Doula- I am beyond thankful for her, she held my hand as we went through 2 days of induction and was there when the decision to have a repeat c-section was made. I wish I could find the right words to express my gratitude.
