I had my first birth with Dasha, and I cannot imagine going through it without a doula! From the start, she was amazing: working closely with my husband and me to prepare for labor. We created a birth plan together, discussed our preferences in depth, and had a dedicated session to go over everything we needed to know. Thanks to her, I felt so much more informed about the entire process than many people I know!
When my doctor tried to schedule an unnecessary induction just for convenience, Dasha accompanied me to my appointment and helped me advocate for myself. Because of her support, I was able to avoid induction and went into labor naturally.
My labor was relatively long - 44 hours from when my water broke - but Dasha made all the difference. She worked tirelessly to help me change positions and encourage my cervix to fully dilate. She also suspected that my baby was facing the wrong way and, through targeted exercises and position changes, she was able to help turn the baby at the perfect time - right before pushing! Thanks to her, I pushed for less than two hours.
Despite the long labor, I had a truly positive experience, and I wholeheartedly believe it was because of Dasha. Her knowledge, dedication, and unwavering support made all the difference. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a birth doula!
