During labor, she was incredible. She guided me on how to help my wife through contractions and kept me calm and focused. She seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even realized it whether it was suggesting a new position, grabbing water, or simply offering encouragement. Having her there allowed me to be fully present with my wife instead of stressing over what to do next.
Additionally, we opted for placenta encapsulation, which Genna handled with professionalism and care. She explained the process thoroughly beforehand, and after the birth, she provided us with the encapsulated placenta in a safe and timely manner. My wife found the capsules helpful for recovery, and it was a great bonus to have Genna offer this service.
Looking back, I cant imagine going through it without her. She supported both of us equally and made what could have been an overwhelming experience into something we will forever be grateful for. If you are considering a doula, do yourself a favor and hire Genna.
