Suzzie is an absolute dream to work with! I hired her for additional support and encouragement during birth and postpartum & it was the best decision. During my C section, when I was shaking and scared, Suzzie was right there - her energy felt so calming and soothing. She took beautiful photos of the birth that I’ll always treasure, and helped me feel cared for and reassured during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life.
Suzzie dropped off a delicious meal the day that we brought baby home & it was exactly the yummy cozy nourishment that a brand new mama needs. Throughout postpartum, Suzzie spoiled me with the most AMAZING meals! Think homemade pizza, glazed salmon bites, better than takeout Thai chicken, bacon cheddar biscuits, raspberry bars , and quiche. Omg her cooking is so tasty!!! She even customized recipes to be gluten and dairy free when baby developed a milk allergy. I enjoyed her food so much, that I felt inspired to start cooking as a hobby and now cook several times a week.
On top of making magic in the kitchen, Suzzie was so kind and gentle while taking care of my baby & he absolutely adored her. She was the only one I trusted to watch my newborn and also gave me helpful advice when I was in the thick of exhaustion. If you’re on the feng about hiring a doula, run don’t walk to book Suzzie! You will absolutely not regret it. She is the best of the best & you will feel supported, uplifted, and nourished by her throughout your new mama journey.
