I cannot recommend Britney highly enough as a doula. Even from our first intake interview, she was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She has a very calming presence whenever we got to spend time with her and the techniques, guidance, and words of encouragement she offered me and my wife were invaluable. Britney took the time to really understand our needs and preferences, and helped walk us through this journey with confidence.
During labor, she was an absolute rock for my wife (who endured a very long labor) and really helped me know what to do when I was too exhausted or overwhelmed. Britney was able to use a few very effective massage and positioning techniques that eased my wife's pain a great deal (I'm a massage therapist and she was still able to show me new techniques I wasn't aware of). Her expertise in managing pain, helping with breathing techniques, and providing emotional support was beyond impressive. What really stood out was her ability to create a safe, peaceful environment, allowing us to fully focus on the birth experience without undue stress or anxiety.
Britney went above and beyond in every aspect of her role, offering thoughtful advice and care not just during the birth, but also throughout the postpartum period. She truly cares about her clients and their well-being, making sure all of our questions were answered and that we felt supported no matter what.
If you're looking for a doula who will make you feel empowered, cared for, and completely supported, Britney is the one. She is a true professional with a heart of gold, and we are so grateful to have had her by our side during such a beautiful and momentus peroid of our lives.
