I can't even think about the support that Meredith provided to my husband and I both in the weeks leading up to deliver and the actual birth itself without tearing up. I was incredibly anxious as I came closer to birth and without fail, Meredith was just a phone call away with a calming presence and reassurances that I was ready and prepared for this. She came to our home multiple times to help us prepare for the baby and gave us priceless tips to set us up for success in the postpartum period. During labor, I wanted to have a low intervention birth & my goal was to labor unmedicated for as long as possible. Meredith was the ultimate advocate to help us decide when was the right time to go to the hospital, helped make my hospital room as comfy and cozy as possible, and provided hours upon hours of counter pressure and support as I labored unmedicated. When we hit a crossroads, her support and reassurances were absolutely priceless to decide to move forward with pain management. She was the most supportive, loving, and took the best care of my husband and I and I truly believe we achieved the most beautiful vaginal delivery because of her support. We won't ever have a baby without her!
