We adore Rebecca ! She was our doula 3 years ago for my unmedicated, successful VBAC. And again for our third baby who was born vaginal one month ago. This delivery although it was successful, was harder for me as she was 11lbs and posterior which is not ideal for birthing.. but it can be done with the right Doctor! Even leading up to the big day, I was feeling done and very emotional. She really helped me the week she was due.
Everytime I spoke with her I always walked away empowered, recentered and peace. I can't thank her enough for answering my texts and giving me advice, encouragement and supporting me through some tough moments.
My husband and her were in constant communication while I was laboring. She showed up professionally, ready to help my husband and I where we needed. She understands her position in the room and is never overbearing or in the way. She's respectful of the entire process and can read energy very well.
She possesses the kind of gentle, protective, supportive , nurturing qualities I want; like you would find in a Mother. And her instincts and professional training go hand in hand making her a solid doula to choose.
I'm the delivery room after the baby was born, I remember the warmth of her hand when she grabbed mine as my husband left to check on the baby. She let me know I was safe and everything is fine.
She stayed afterwards to make sure I had been taken care of as I had a second degree tear and checked to make sure I was doing well the next day too. She stays in contact and is genuinely concerned with my well-being, even today.
Rebecca is the ideal doula for us because with her I know "Everything's going to be okay." and she will make sure it is the best outcome for baby and I. She will always be my choice if she's available! Thank you Rebecca for being apart of my journey again and for being there for another wonderful birth story.
