Having Steph on our side was amazing! I just wish I had contacted her immediately when I found out I was pregnant and had considered more of the many services she provides like hypnobirthing. We did have our placenta encapsulated which she was amazing for. It was a beautiful experience and highly recommend that service. We also utilized the doula services to which I'd encourage anyone to have. We needed someone in our corner and someone who could explain and provide different viewpoints. She also knows all of the Vernon doctors and practitioners and the hospital so that advice was valuable too. Sadly we had a c section and I have days where I regret that decision as some of what Stephanie noted could happen - did happen (baby was not as big as they said, placenta was not as calcified as they said etc). I so wish I could have had a natural birth and I know she would have been an amazing help. She did however, help me get through the post partum and breastfeeding phase. She showed me a breastfeeding technique which is the only pain free approach that worked for me so that was a lifesaver. I can't recommend her enough!!!!
