Where do I begin?! This was Juana's 2nd time around assisting me from conception to birth and I would have had it no other way! This time around I was 10yrs older but also 10yrs wiser and knew she had to be on my "dream team" as we definitely called it! She and my fiance were the only ones in the delivery room this go round and it was such a beautiful experience! Again, from the first convo of, okay Juana, we're reasy to try, to the first cry, she was there! The prayers, the knowledge, the confidence and the value she carries through this pregnancy is nothing short of a gift. She truly is walking and working in her gift from God and she has yet another chapter in our book of life! We are forever grateful and proud to have had her by our sides and wish the same presence and aaaistance on anyone else walking down this journey of expanding your family! Juana does not play! She mimics you and your energy and if you want to have a beautiful pregnancy and labor and delivery, she will be there to make sure you have just that! We never questioned her, we felt educated to make our own informed decisions and we had the reaukta to back it up! We labored at home for the majority of time, (as we wanted to and previously discussed) but when we got on the phone n she saw my face, she just calmly said, "okay, I need you guys to head to the hospital"! It was so calm, it makes me smile to this day, because not once did she invoke fear or worry; as we were 5 weeks early! But we were ready! With her expertise, she shared with me later that God had already told her the baby would come early! How special is that?! Her and my fiancé's voice and touch coached me to meeting our son literally an hour and change after arriving from the hospital! It was so beautiful and we literally were in an answered prayer at each step!
