Our experience with Jill could not have been better. From our very first call, when I was vetting doulas and finding who would be the right fit, Jill went above and beyond. I had a very specific plan in mind, because my insurance was only taken at Henry Mayo even though I live in Palmdale.
So I planned on delivering with a laborist there and was considering a doula so that I would know at least one face in the room. When I explained this to Jill, she immediately contacted who she knew at Henry Mayo to see what the process would be if I were induced, if I came in while in labor, who might be on staff, etc. This was all before we even signed the contract with her; this was just out of the kindness of her heart.
Seeing how she responded to everything I shared on the call, my husband and I decided she was the one. And boy, were we blessed in choosing Jill.
Not only did she prepare us for what to expect leading up to and during delivery, but also for what caring for a newborn would be like as well!
And in that delivery room, I couldn't imagine having anyone else by our side... Jill's confident reassurance and hands-on approach was all that kept me going when I pushed forward with a natural vaginal birth.
Every step then (and since), Jill has been our greatest advocate and champion of all that we've been through and all that we've accomplished. Her heart for what she does truly shines through, and I couldn't recommend her more - to any mom that is unsure (especially any first time moms), she is the RIGHT choice. You will not regret having her by your side.
