Without Patty, my birth team would not have been complete, especially through a C-section birth. This was my second time hiring Patty to be my birth doula. My pregnancy turned high-risk about halfway through. Patty was supportive, resourceful, and always positive. She was a beacon of light through some tough times. When we needed to talk through my pregnancy and birth plans, Patty was always available. When it came to the fact that a C-section would be my birth outcome, I wanted Patty to be there for as much as possible. Thankfully Patty could be with me before the birth and almost immediately afterwards. She helped me stay calm, relaxed, and brave in the moments that were frightening for me. In the recovery room, Patty encouraged me to nourish my body, took beautiful photos of my new baby, and helped with nursing. She helped to provide me with the strength that I didn't know I had after my first major surgery. Patty didn't give up on me when a C-section was inevitable and I am incredibly thankful for that. Patty truly cares about you, your birth, and your baby. She is an amazing doula who will offer guidance, tools, and knowledge as you prepare and give birth. Thank you, Patty.
