Katarina was my doula and played such a special role in bringing my sweet baby girl into the world. Although I didn’t have the chance to work with Kat during the early stages of my pregnancy, the time we did spend together felt like we had known each other much longer. From the very beginning, Kat was consistently checking in on me, offering helpful information, and making sure I had everything I needed. As someone who struggles with communication, I was always grateful for how she took the initiative to keep in touch and let me know she was there for me whenever I had questions or needed support.
During labor, Kat had the ability to read my cues without me saying a word. Her calming presence was such a relief, and she was incredibly helpful not only to me but also to my partner, offering guidance and techniques to ease my discomfort. Kat knew exactly when to step in and when to let things unfold, always supporting me in the most gentle and loving way. Her soothing energy helped me stay calm during some of the more challenging moments of childbirth, and I’m so thankful to have had her by my side.
Even after the birth, Kat continued to reach out, offering support and sharing helpful tips for the transition into the newborn phase. Her thoughtfulness and generosity have meant so much to me. I truly believe that being a doula is Kat’s calling—she was absolutely made for this. I am forever grateful for the timing that brought us together.
