Shaina was so wonderful! Her support was outstanding throughout my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum experiences. My husband and I both really benefited from her prenatal support. She did an amazing job describing what to expect during labor, and also coached me through some helpful stretches and yoga positions to help prepare for birth. Then, when plans changed, she helped explain in detail what to expect from the induction process. All of this helped me feel much more prepared and empowered for labor as a first time mom!
During labor itself, Shaina was an incredible support, coaching me through breathing and offering gentle suggestions throughout the process to help encourage progress while also prioritizing my comfort and emotional wellbeing. She was immediately responsive with support during early labor, arrived promptly when things progressed more rapidly than expected, and integrated seamlessly into our birth team. Then, when we had an unexpected complication and I had to go to the OR after the birth, she stayed with my husband and son and helped him through that unplanned process, and was there to support us as a family after I got back. She even took our first family photos!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Shaina overall and would highly recommend her services!
