I credit Olivia (and my partner of course) for me being able to have an unmedicated delivery. She was there through all of it, remaining calm, providing educated advice when we needed it, supporting both me and my partner. It was exactly what we wanted and I'm very happy that we had Olivia's help.
Before the birth we had a couple in person meetings in our home where we worked together on the birth plan and chatted through the possible interventions. That was very informative and prepared us well for the upcoming birth.
After the delivery it felt great to chat through the experience which was very special to share. I'm glad that Olivia was in the room with us the whole time, I don't think it would've been the same if it was just my partner and I, we would've been more stressed I think, sometimes at loss about what to do, and just in general more lonely. Especially for the first pregnancy it was immensely helpful to have someone who's been through it and knows what to expect.
Olivia also provided postpartum and breastfeeding support. We can't recommend her enough!
