We hired Stephanie as our birth doula and we are so glad she was part of our birth team. This was our first baby and wanted to make sure we were well prepared. Stephanie answered all our questions in our prenatal visits and gave us information we needed to make well informed choices for the birth. Stephanie showed us different tools for the labour, birth, and postpartum. Stephanie helped us feel prepared and confident with the process, especially my husband. Stephanie's kind, caring, and uplifting personality also put us as ease.
When the day finally came, Stephanie was with us every step of the way. Stephanie's TEN's machine was a life saver and it helped me get through the labour. Stephanie gave helpful guidance with difference positions to try as well. My labour went relatively, and unexpectedly, fast, Stephanie was able to help keep us focused and calm as we waited for the midwives to arrive at our house. Once baby arrived and checks were done, Stephanie was the last to leave our home. Stephanie made sure we were all set for the evening, everything was cleaned up and that we felt confident to be on our own. Stephanie also visited us postpartum and brought some delicious lactation cookies!
We highly recommend Stephanie! I wasn't sure if hiring a birth doula was worth it, but now that I had Stephanie at our birth, I cannot recommend her enough. We are very thankful we found Stephanie, she was a big reason why my birth experience was so positive. Thank you Stephanie!
