Tia is absolutely wonderful — I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!! My husband and I were primarily looking for a doula to serve as an advocate for me and to provide additional perspective when navigating the birthing process. She excelled in both of those roles. Tia helped us think through and make informed decisions when we encountered a few unexpected situations, including our baby staying in the breech position until close to delivery and an unplanned C-section when complications arose during labor. She also was a great intermediary between me and my physician team, respectfully asking questions and making requests so that I didn’t have to worry about advocating for myself. Tia helped keep my labor process comfortable, peaceful and on track and was just generally a lovely and comforting presence in the room during a potentially stressful time. Couldn’t recommend Tia more!
