We are endlessly grateful to have worked with Dasha as our doula and would readily absolutely her. She has an extensive depth and breadth of knowledge in all things pregnancy and birthing and brings genuine joy and care into every interaction. She has a deep passion for this work and is extremely competent and capable.
After hiring her, we decided to enroll in her childbirth classes and were grateful for the one-on-one time to be able to ask all our questions and learn all about our upcoming birth. My partner and I are data and research driven people, and she was able to meet our inquiries with plentiful resources and information to help us feel confident in our decisions and with each step of the process.
Dasha helped us prepare for and handle changing circumstances as we drew closer to our delivery date. We had originally planned an unmedicated natural birth, but it became necessary to opt for a planned cesarean. She helped me manage my deep fears of being awake on an operating table and supported my partner in being there for me with her calm and knowledgeable presence.
Her support continued beyond the birth of our baby. She schedules a post partum visit to check in after a couple weeks and this made a huge difference for us. Our little one had lost weight, was so sleepy that we struggled to feed her, and was showing signs of significant gastrointestinal discomfort as she slept. Dasha helped us problem solve and connected with her network to find us additional information and resources to respond to these challenges. Our little one is now thriving and we cannot thank her enough for all her support.
