Marianne is absolutely amazing! I sought out a doula to help provide support, guidance, & most of all, help be an advocate for my needs & wants during my delivery. From the initial virtual consultation, I was impressed by Marianne's depth of knowledge for all things labor & delivery. She was able to help answer my questions & describe the type of care & services she would provide. Her blend of incorporating holistic & natural methods with modern & evidence based techniques gave me the reassurance that I was selecting the right doula for my needs. Marianne's love & passion for her work are displayed in every interaction. She will answer any & all of your questions in great detail to ensure that you're aware of all the benefits & risks. Her in-home prenatal visits provided my husband & I the knowledge we needed to give us the confidence for my delivery. She also shared various positions & exercises to do at home to help my body be ready for the delivery & let me tell you, these positions work! When I went into labor, Marianne was incredibly responsive, thorough & compassionate. She was with us every step of the way & reassured us to trust ourselves & all the prep work that have led us to this moment. When Marianne arrived at the hospital, she absolutely outdid herself. She immediately communicated with the nurses & doctors, got me into different positions & explained every stage of the labor process. Although it was not my immediate birth wish to go completely unmedicated, I was able to successfully deliver without any pain medication with her guidance. Marianne truly cares about each & every client she works with. No matter what wishes you have for your birth plan, she will support you 110% & be with you every step of the way. I cannot recommend Marianne enough! We are extremely thankful & grateful that Marianne was with us to start this new chapter of our lives!
