Going into my second pregnancy, I already knew I wanted things to be polar different from my hospital birth. I dreamed of having this beautiful experience where I listened and worked with my body in a space that I was most comfortable in, my home. Meeting Jessica and having her guide us during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum was a godsend. She is so knowledgeable and was able to listen and calm all our worries. Having her explain which stretches I should be doing and how they will help me in pregnancy and labor contributed to me having minimal sciatic nerve pain, which often left me unable to walk in my first pregnancy, and an easier birth. I could not be more grateful for all her support, and encouragement to trust my body. Eternally thankful for her guiding my husband during labor, so he could be my biggest support, making our birth story so much more special. My only regret is that I didn’t meet her sooner, so I could have been just as empowered at my first birth.
