Stephanie was such an amazing and vital part to my birth team with my second birth. If I weren't done having babies, I would asbolutely hire her again! After my first birth experience, I knew that hiring a doula was crucial for having a more positive birth experience. Before I got pregnant again, I had actually worked along side Stephanie during a friend's birth and was amazed at her knowledge and supportive presence in the labor room. Fast forward to needing to hire a doula for my own birth, Stephanie was a perfect match for us. We love her evidence based approach to care, spunky attitude and love for what she does. Her belief that everyone deserves a doula made it more accessible for us to hire a doula. Stephanie was a key piece in helping me heal from my poor birth experience from my first baby by helping me process those feelings and fears and prioritize what was really important to me in my second labor to help me achieve a positive experience. During labor and in the height of transition, Stephanie helped bring me back down and give me confidence that my body could do it and in fact I was doing it. She did an amazing job advocating for me during labor and making sure my birth preferences were honored as much as possible - which is truly appreciated as I didn't get that during my first birth. I loved that Stephanie followed up with me postpartum to check in to see how I was doing and process how my birth went. Highly recommend hiring Stephanie!
