Heather exceeded our expectations in every way possible and I would not consider having another birth without her there. An evidence based professional, Heather was a wealth of information in birthing, prenatal and postnatal education. She perfectly executed her role in supporting us as a couple through my entire pregnancy and into post pardum. She has a clear scope of practice that integrates seamlessly into any setting of birth. I delivered at the rocky view hospital and Heather collaborated with the medial professionals throughout the birth providing emotional support to both me and my partner. As a doula she was able to create space for my husband and I to discuss medical decisions, which facilitated our ability to advocate for ourselves. Her services were remarkable in the sense that she stayed with us for over 24 hours at the birth and provided home visits pre and postnatally. I am unbelievably grateful to have had Heather on my birth team and I would highly recommend her services to any expectant mother.
