We are so thankful to have Rachel as our doula! With this being our first child, my husband and I had so many questions. Rachel offers Evidence Based Birth classes (amazing info on every major decision related to pregnancy, labor/birth, and care immediately following birth) and Spinning Babies (positioning techniques and exercises). We learned so much from both of these classes and from Rachel's experience and knowledge! Because of Rachel and these classes, my husband was able to support me so well throughout labor, which strengthened our relationship in ways I would have never imagined.
Rachel was a loving, safe, and comforting presence during my labor and birth center birth. She came to our house and followed us to the birth center. She encouraged me to find positions that progressed labor and was ready with a new position or coping technique every time I needed a change. Rachel provides a TENS unit which was a huge help for me during labor. After the birth of our son, Rachel helped me to breastfeed and ensured we had a good latch. She even came over postpartum to talk about my birth experience and check in on our family. She is such a blessing to our family and we will definitely be calling her again for future babies!
