Whenever I tell the story of our daughter's birth I'm sure to include that I couldn't have done it without Jennese. She would have been born without her, of course, but I'm certain my experience would've been markedly different. Jennese was a helpful guide through my pregnancy (we hired her late in my first trimester), always available for questions and to give me encouragement. During her prenatal visits she paid attention to both what I wanted and what my husband wanted, finding was to support us both. She is completely nonjudgmental and there to support your decisions, not to convince you one way or another. When it came time for the actual birth, she made the hospital into a dreamy space with her bag of tricks and calm, protective energy. I labored for 40+ hours and she was there the whole time - first by phone and then in person - and her consistent presence made me feel incredibly safe. At the end of the day I got everything I wanted from my birth and I really credit Jennese for helping me to achieve my goals. If we decide to have another child, she'll be the third person to know! I really cannot recommend her enough.
