Heather has been by my side through 4 births. She gave me so much reassurance and support during each one of my deliveries. She coached me in different labor positions & relaxation tools. She helped my husband determine when it was time to go to the hospital. She was my advocate with the doctors and nurses. She always had a calming presence and would clearly and gently communicate what was happening, which put me a ease. Even after my birth, she would follow up with me to see how breastfeeding was going. She gave me invaluable advice when I struggled to produce milk with my youngest son because he wasn't latching. I went on to breastfeed him for two years! I cannot imagine a better person to help mothers during this transformational time.
