Hello, I am a first time mom and an old 40 year old one, the pregnancy came as a surprise and was totally unexpected. We found out when I was already 12 weeks , it was all overwhelming and so my husbnd and I thought to find ourselves a Dulah who would help us navigate through everything and break through all the noise and concentrate on what's important and how to manage pain during labour. We were so lucky to find Cheryl who went over and beyond what we had thought we needed. She literally educated us to push back and ask for other available options rather than agreeing with everything that the OBGYN recommended. There was so much stuff that we wouldn't have discussed with our doc if it wasn't for Cheryl.
I was on the course for a c-section and ended up having a normal delivery - I give a ton of credit to Cheryl for pushing forward the idea of turning the baby via ECP and had a normal delivery. We can't thank Cheryl enough !! Oh yeah and she took awesome pics during my labour that we will cherish forever :D
