As first time parents, we are so incredibly grateful for Ryah! I had a hospital L&D with Ryah as our birth doula. In our first appointments, Ryah really took the time to understand what I was looking for in a doula and labor experience. She gave us techniques, exercises and stretches to do in the end of my pregnancy and was on standby to help answer any potential questions or concerns. When it came to my labor experience, Ryah advocated for me multiple times along the way, she built great rapport with the hospital nurses and doctors, and helped my husband be part of the experience when he wasn't quite sure what to do. My birth plan changed along the way due to a number of factors but I always felt like I was doing what was best for me and my baby, thanks to Ryah and the immense knowledge and experience she has. When the times got tough in both L&D, Ryah was there to cheer me on, comfort me, or help change course. I can't wait to have her by my side whenever we decide to have our next baby. She's truly amazing at what she does.
