Rachel patiently worked with both, my husband and me, to prepare our birth plan which helped us to think through the nuances ahead of time and prepare for what was to come. During labor, her confidence and calmness helped me feel safe. She anticipated what I needed before I even asked, whether it was breathing tips, physical help, or just reassurance. We also had a great time just chatting during the downtime which was a surprisingly great and appreciated distraction.
Rachael was a source of emotional and physical support in those tough first days with our little one. Her experience with breastfeeding, newborn care, and adjusting to parenthood was a lifesaver. She wasn’t just a doula, but a partner in the journey.
