Deciding to invest in a night doula was a big deal for us. We are both in healthcare, and our finances were limited, especially with all the new costs of impending parenthood. However, we knew I was going to be having a c-section, and decided it was worth taking the plunge and making the investment. She was also great with our dogs, who loved her (always a good sign dog people!). I would make this investment 100 times over. One of the most compassionate things I did for myself as a new mom.
