Hiring Amber was one of the best decisions I made in preparing for having my baby! They are kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I immediately felt comfortable with them and at ease, like you would with a good friend. In our meetings during pregnancy, they were great in walking us through drafting our birth preferences and talking through options and expectations so we had the info we needed to make educated decisions. During L+D Amber was indispensable. My labor did not go at all according to plan because babies do resist our best laid plans, and Amber was with us each step of the way to provide calm energy, levity, and continual physical/mental/emotional support as we decided on next steps. They worked with the nurses and midwives to communicate my preferences or requests so I could focus on labor. Without Amber, I do not think I would have had such a positive experience with L+D.
