Julia and I had met back in 2018. I reached out to her as she has a photo business and I wanted to be able to create photos for my family. Julia is such a warm loving person! Her photos turned out beautiful and I am forever grateful for them. She has not my doula, but she sure felt like it. I would reach out to her for any questions or concerns as I was pregnant with my first baby in 2018. She never once turned me away. She always answered my questions and made me feel seen, heard, and loved. That’s when I knew that Julia would be a wonderful doula! She came and photographed my newborn son after he was born and captured many phenomenal memories! We continued to talk and began a friendship. In 2021, I had another son and she was such a blessing for me. She continued to talk with me though my pregnant and checkin and make sure baby and I were doing well. She came and visited me in the hospital after he was born. I had complications after we had went home and Julia was a saving grace for me. She stepped in and helped me when I needed it most. When they say it takes a village, I know what they mean. And Julia was and still is a huge part of my village. If I were to have another baby, I would definitely want Julia to be my doula and walk me through my journey once again. Julia, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for me and my boys. The sacrifices you have made, the connections we have created, the bond and friendship that we share. Thank you so much! We are all forever grateful for you and I can not wait for you to embark on your journey as a doula. You will do fantastic!
