There are no words to truly express how thankful my husband and I are for Ashlee. From the moment we started our journey with her she was kind, gentle, engaged, informative, and encouraging. She provided an abudant of support and resources during my pregnancy and postpartum. Looking back at my birth I could not have imagined her not being there. I had a difficult birth and she was there the entire time encouraging and supporting not only me but my husband. I know he would say the same thing with absolute certainty that Ashlee was a huge part of a successful birth. There were times during the birth I wanted to give up and she stayed steadfast (though I know she was exhausted from all the hip squeezes ;P). Her calm presence is such a light in the midst of hard. If you are considering a doula I know without a doubt you will not regret choosing Ashlee.
