Kathie is amazing! I ended up securing a doula later in my pregnancy, but Kathie was able to jump right in, meeting all my needs and concerns and providing guidance leading up to, and after, the birth. Being my first pregnancy, I had a lot of concerns and was set in how I wanted my birth to go. Kathie was great at helping to make sure that I had what I needed in place with my birth plan and that it would be followed. Both my CNM and doula were exactly what I needed and they made an excellent team! When labor did come, she was right there! She was a tremendous help throughout the process, physically and mentally supporting the labor and birth. From a male perspective, my husband had doubts about a doula/midwife approach, but was pleasantly surprised by her knowledge and performance when it came time to labor and deliver. I honestly don’t think my birthing experience would have been the same without her! Kathie’s methods, approach, support, knowledge, bedside manner, and general personality all make her an incredible asset to have! I would strongly recommend her!
