Jaime was sunshine in our home after having our first baby. "Jaime days" were always a relief- I would wake up feeling so excited for the nourishment + connection to come. It's such a treat in early motherhood to have a "visitor" that is there truly to serve you as the mother- whatever I needed, Jaime did- from cooking, cleaning, caring for the baby and my own bodywork/ rest. Even my husband loved having her and would frequently ask me, "when is Jaime coming next?" She was such a staple in our home for everything postpartum that we knew to hire her again when we had our second just 21 months later- in fact we chose to forego a birth doula so we could get the longer lasting postpartum care.
