We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Katherine and would highly recommend her to any family considering a post partum doula (this being our second time having one). First, Katherine is *so* professional and knowledgeable. From recognizing the symptoms of our baby's abnormal reflux (later diagnosed as GERD) and helping us manage it to giving us ideas on how to change breastmilk/formula ratios more gradually to ensure it wasn't a shock to our daughter's system to sharing many soothing techniques as she quickly learned our daughter's cues, we were impressed by how she always had different ideas for us and shared them in a collaborative and non-judgemental way. Second, Katherine also clearly loves babies! She was so sweet with our daughter and we could always rest knowing she was in such capable, professional hands. Katherine also was incredibly respectful and aware of being in our home, moving seemingly silently when cleaning bottles or pump parts, which we really appreciated. Katherine's reserved but warm and professional style was a perfect fit for our family and surely would be for yours! We are so grateful for the 10 weeks we all spent with Katherine - she really set our family up well to welcome our second daughter, who I'll note sleeps incredibly well (and was by the time we had stopped working together!). Definitely a talented and caring PPD!!
