My husband and I hired Kristina because I wanted a natural birth in a hospital.  I clicked with Kristina from the first time we met - she made me feel at ease and confident in myself.  During the prenatal visits we discussed my fears and concerns with natural birth and practiced different positions/techniques for labor.  I also loved that I could text her about anything and everything and she always responded promptly and with great advice.  The day I went into labor, my husband kept her updated on the phone until things really progressed, at which point she came to our house.  She helped me with breathing and moaning through my contractions.  She followed us to the hospital and continued coaching me.  One thing I loved about Kristina is that she really allowed my husband to care for me, showing him how to put counterpressure on my back and reminding us both to eat and drink.  She also made sure my "Labor playlist" was playing and read to me from my birth affirmations banner (I had never heard of this until Kristina suggested it).  I got to 8 cm dilated without pain medications, and I attribute that completely to Kristina!  Unfortunately Baby got stuck at that point and I opted for an epidural after a few more hours.  Long story short, I ended up with a C section because of failure to progress and concerns with my baby's heart rate (and because there was meconium when my water broke).  Even though my birth didn't go as planned, I'm so glad Kristina was there to put me at ease.  I couldn't have gotten as far as I did without her.  She stayed until after our baby was born and she showed me how to breastfeed him.  She also took amazing pictures of him.  She came over to our house twice postpartum and cleaned my house for me so I could sleep!  I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a doula.

Kristina delivered our placenta capsules very quickly (when we were still in the hospital!) They were packaged nice and in a cute little Mason jar. She also did a placenta stamp for us that means the world to me! She's very nice and professional and I'm always happy to refer my friends to her!

Kristina was amazing! She was so helpful and had answers to all of my questions. During Labor and delivery she was so supportive and was always there for me no matter what decisions I made. She walked in the hallways with me around the nurses station and helped me to remember to breath and walk the through the contractions. I'm so happy that I found Kristina and so thankful that she helped me through this new chapter of my life!

Kristina was such a special part of our birth.  She was really a good listener and valued what we wanted and supported us thoroughly. She offered plenty of time before the birth so we felt like she knew us well and tuned in to what we needed from her.   She was totally available for questions and really gave us everything we needed for a peaceful non-medicated hospital birth.  Although my labor and birth was really fast, she was absolutely essential in making it what we wanted.

Even though it was my second birth, I realized that I had so much to learn and her bag of "tricks" (massage, positions, essential oils) were perfect.  I highly recommend Kristina!!

Kristina has been my powerhouse throughout our entire pregnancy and after the birth. I don't know what I would have done without her.
We were so excited to discover we were pregnant. Kristina was the first person we told and we immediately asked her to be our doula. She began by taking me to a natural baby fair where we got to hear Penny Simkins talk! It was very emotional for me realizing that I'm going to have a baby! But Kristina stuck with me and kept encouraging me with positive words.
Kristina made herself available throughout my entire pregnancy and answered all my questions when I had a concern.
Finally, the night came for my induction. Our baby was a week late and I wanted the natural birth. The hospital started me on pitocin and it was just me and my husband for the first hour. I was lying in the hospital bed with strong contractions telling my husband that I already wanted the epidural! But then Kristina arrived! She told me "Get up! Don't lay down!" and she immediately taught me how to make raspberries! I remember the whole time in labor Kristina was so supportive telling me that I was doing "an AWESOME job!". 7 hours later Emaline was born! I knew I would not have had the birth I wanted without her there supporting me and my husband.
Every day for about a week after her birth we were on the phone with Kristina asking every question new parents could think of! Kristina was there for every one of them and we will continue using her knowledge as support.
Thank you Kristina for your support and knowledge! We Love you!
