We were so fortunate to have Willow as our doula for the birth of our second daughter this past January. We were planning a VBAC in a modified home birth setting (in a birthing suite at our midwife's office) and knew that we would benefit from doula support. From the moment I spoke with Willow on the phone, she provided a sense of calm and understanding. She intuitively was able to read various situations and road blocks that we experienced with our birth and provided continuous support before, during and after the birth of our daughter. An example of Willow's intuitive nature was happened at the very start of our birth. Just as we arrived to our midwive's office in labor, we were told that the water heater was not working and therefore we would not have access to the birthing pool. This was very hard to hear and was presented in a matter of fact manner by our midwife. Because I could not change this, I did not discuss it further. Not too long after this, my labor stalled and Willow suggested that my husband and I take a walk. She asked if I wanted her to come along or not. Right as we got outside, she was able to read how this had affected me and asked me how I felt about not having access to the birthing pool and allowed me time to process this more. Examples of her intuitive support and perfectly timed words of encouragement are infinite. She was always available during our birth yet allowed my husband and I to process along various pieces of our birth experience along the way. Our birth journey was quite long and she was there the entire time! I highly recommend Willow as a doula and her support was invaluable for my husband and I.

I am so blessed to have had Willow as my doula. Birth is such a sacred and powerful event and she truly honored that. She was an open book when it came to questions or concerns, and created a safe space for my husband and I to share our fears. She helped me to feel confident and prepared for my birth and was a wonderful addition to my birthing team.

Willow is a quiet and calming presence during labor. She is a wealth of knowledge, but presents herself gently at the exact moment you need it. Her counterpressure saved my sanity during my posterior baby's birth and I gained strength from her birth affirmations.

If you're debating on hiring Willow, don't hesitate! You will be lucky to have such an amazing woman by your side during such an important day.

Willow attended my birth this year and was a fantastic doula. She was always in the right place at the right time to offer help or allow me the space I needed. Her energy is very comforting and I was so grateful to have her presence. She has a wealth of knowledge and a passion for birth that is apparent in her approach to doula work.

I am a fellow Birth Doula who has used Willow as a back-up for my clients many times. Willow is a very well educated Doula who is always expanding her knowledge of the birth field. Her kind nature and genuine concern for her clients really shines through to all who meet her. My families who have had the opportunity to either meet or work with Willow were very comfortable with her being on call to support them if I was not able and felt she was great support to them. I think anyone who utilizes Willow at their birth would not only be well supported but very pleased. She has a lot of knowledge and support to offer.
