I had a wonderful experience with Amanda!! We are first time parents and Amanda was there to provide support whenver we needed it. I had a complicated labor and delivery and having her help and guidance is what got us through the first several weeks   as new parents. I will be using her again for our next child. I highly recommend her!

Amanda helped our family with post partum care after the birth of our first child. We were so grateful to have her! I always looked forward to her visits because she just jumped right in and helped. She was very knowledgable with newborn care and was very kind and patient with our family.

My husband and I were so grateful to work with Amanda when we were first home with our son. Amanda taught us so much about caring for a baby. I kept a running list of “Amanda questions” to ask, which was super useful and comforting. Our baby was preemie and not initially able to breastfeed effectively, so she helped us figure out what we were doing, from pumping to bottle feeding to nursing. She also enabled us to simply pause, breathe, sleep (hooray!), and feel absolutely confident that our baby was being well taken care of. And with her patience, understanding, and encouragement, she provided important emotional support when we needed it. Before meeting Amanda, I was concerned that having a doula in our home might feel obtrusive, but it was the opposite. I felt incredibly comfortable with Amanda, and I loved our talks during late-night baby sessions on the couch. Amanda is a total baby person who cares deeply about families and understands people; I highly recommend her!

We chose Amanda to be our labor doula for our first baby born August, 2016 and there's no doubt that we made the right choice! After interviewing several doulas, we were drawn to Amanda's open and loving energy. We had several prenatal visits with Amanda where she helped answer any questions we had (many) and gave us lots of useful tips and tricks for optimal fetal positioning, staying relaxed and more. I did these exercises religiously throughout my pregnancy and am convinced they played a huge role in my easy, amazing birth experience. At the birth, Amanda's calming energy helped me transition quickly and experience a very quick active labor. Our daughter, Zoe was born in the water without any drugs or interventions and Amanda played an integral role in this most beautiful process of my life!

Amanda was an angel sent from above for us. I was hesitant to have a "stranger" help us take care of our babies, let alone during the middle of the night. Once my husband and I met her for the first time, we knew we would be in good hands. She did everything and more that she promised us.

Amanda is reliable, responsible, educated, soothing, and  loves the babies she works with. It is obvious that she takes her job serious. I could always see it in her face and actions that she truly cared for our twin girls. We had Amanda help us from the time they were one week old to four months old. She helped me with any questions I had and if she didn't know the answer, she would take time in the middle of the night to research it and find an answer for me. She is a sensitive person to individual families needs and does not "cross the line". She even took the time to respond to questions I had later on down the road when I reached out to her and attended our girl's first birthday party. I truly cant imagine what our lives would have been like if she hadn't been there.  Mone, my husband's and my girls mental well-being was strongly influenced by all she did for us. We can't thank her enough!

i would highly recommend Amanda!

Amanda was crucial to our positive experience  of bringing micro preemie twins home from the NICU after a 12 week stay. She was energetic, enthusiastic, and warm. We used her for overnight care full time for the first 3 months and then occasionally after that. She brought positive energy to our home. She had the confidence we needed to help support our gruntry, refluxy and tiny babes. Being able to get a decent nights sleep was the key to our successful entry into parenting twins at home. She always had excellent suggestions and would use her connections for any referrals or second opinions. I have and would refer Amanda to anyone who needed a doula, she is a natural.
