Christine McNeal was so wonderful to work with!  I honestly believe she is a major reason that I was able to have the labor and delivery that I wanted.  She was so positive and respected my individual needs.  She kept in great contact and was a wonderful listener during our meetings.  My labor went very smoothly and I could not have done it without the awesome support of Christine and of my husband!

I had the best experience with Christine and am confident that she is one of the reasons for such a succesful and joyful birthing experience. From our first meeting I felt great about my decision to hire her. She is very personable and friendly while being very well-educated and professional. Christine always responded to any of my questions in a timely manner and when unsure of an answer she always consulted her resources and got back to me with a thoughtful response. The two meetings prior to my labor were very insightful and she was sure to answer any questions my husband and I might have had. In fact, attending prenatal/birthing class was completely unnecessary because there was nothing that they went over in the class that Christine had not gone over with me. I felt very well informed and confident in the choices that I had made for my birth plan as well as during my labor (since it was nothing like my birth plan). I had a relatively long labor and Christine was available at all hours of the night and by my side the minute I asked her to be. She stayed with us throughout the entre labor and delivery, and was an amazing advocate from weighing in on intervention decisions to filling up my water bottle and suggesting different labor techniques. I think that without Christine's guidance and support my labor would have gone much differently and it would not have been the amazing experience that I had. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a doula and am very grateful to have found her myself.  Thanks Christine!

Finding a doula that I was comfortable with being a part of such an intimate event was very important to me.  Christine did an amazing job of connecting with both my husband and I and making us feel comfortable with her.  Before the birth, she was very detailed in answering any questions that I had and was always available.  She also really helped me feel more prepared for the natural birth experience.  During the birth she was actively present the entire time and very knowledgeable.  Her guidance and support techniques were extremely helpful in having the natural birth I had hoped for.  I highly recommend her and can't wait to work with her again during my next pregnancy!

Christine was a great doula to work with. I am very type A and like to have things organized and planned out. Christine made this very easy to do because she was always available via email, text or phone all throughout this process. I really felt like she was "on call" the entire time if I needed her to be. She was like that best friend that you could talk with about anything. Which is much needed when you are are a first time momma like I was. Additionally, Christine is not your old-school doula. She is very technology oriented and all of the paperwork and everything was handled electronically which I greatly appreciated because it sped up the entire process. Leading up to our labor Christine did a great job of asking my husband and I questions about the big day that helped us decide and plan for all of the different outcomes that could take place while in labor. I felt so confident going into my labor (which was a pre-planned water birth) that when I arrived at the hospital and found out that there was no running water because of an ecoli breakout, I didn't even need to think twice about my birth plan because I knew I had the support team (Christine and my husband) that I needed to get me through the laboring process without medication.

My husband also raved about working with Christine. He felt supported and appreciated all of the tips and advice she was able to give him during delivery: what words of encouragement to say, ways to get me to breathe in a calm manner, etc.

We were thrilled to work with Christine and plan to work with her again when we have our next child.
