Client Testimonials for Brandi Nations

I’ve known Brandi for five years and we first met when I was opening a community wellness center with a focus on maternal health. I appreciated her work and passion as a Lactation Consultant at that time and I was working as a postpartum doula myself. Fast forward to last year, I found out that I was expecting my third baby. Everything had changed tremendously since my last child (who was now almost 6) and I honestly felt a little nervous about how things were going to go. Without hesitation I reached out to Brandi who offered to be my birth doula and I am so happy that she did! My birth was much different than I had imagined and in total it lasted 32 hours, which included me having to leave the birth center to go to the hospital. Brandi was there with us through it all and kept me going when I thought I was going to completely give out. I’m not sure how this would have gone without her constant support and positive energy. I am extremely grateful for having her by my side and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced and energetic doula. Not to mention she takes some pretty amazing photos ??

As I sit here nursing my sweet boy I think back at how grateful I am for Brandi. I heard about Brandi’s Services through a friend at work and set up a meeting for my husband and I to meet her. Not knowing if we would jive or if it would be right for us. After meeting Brandi my husband and I both knew we wanted her to help us welcome our baby boy into this world. Brandi met with us multiple times at the house to help us get prepared and get to know her better.

When the day came for our son to arrive Brandi was more than my husband and I could have ever asked for. Brandi helped advocate for me while I was in the hospital and didn’t want to be strapped to machines laying in the bed. Brandi helped me with my contractions and labor in the shower and showed my husband and I just what to do to make the proceS go smoother and quicker. Brandi came ready with lavender oils, hot pads and helpful hands. We reccomend Brandi to anyone we know who is pregnant because she truly made our birth story so beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you ??

Brandi was such an awesome doula! I wasn't entirely decided on the necessity of a doula when I gave birth for the first time, but, in hindsight, I am so glad I had her! Brandi's expertise as a lactation consultant allowed me to solve the initial problems of breastfeeding my infant and helped me to meet and exceed my breastfeeding goals! Even for a subsequent birth for which you are prepared for and comfortable with what to expect, Brandi is worth her weight in gold as a postpartum doula! Allow her to alleviate some of the pressure of caring for yourself as you care for your newborn. A hand with a few meals, grocery shopping, loads of laundry and light housekeeping can be a god sent during this special time! If not for yourseof, great as a gift for a new-to-be mom you know! I would highly recommend Brandi to anyone searching for a doula!

Brandi was recently my doula for my second birth with my second son. She is an absolutely amazing person who is truly passionate and knowledgable about what she does. She stuck with me through my 26 hour labor and delivery and helped me manage my pain through every single contraction. I look back at my labor and delivery experience with Brandi with so much thankfulness and pure strength. She believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Her services are truly priceless and I feel so blessed that I found her for my birth.

Having Brandi as my birth doula was wonderful. I decided to get a doula late in my pregnancy (37 weeks!) Even though I waited that long I knew I picked the right person. Brandi made sure of what both my husband and I wanted and that we were both 100% comfortable in all decisions that were made. We never once felt any hesitation in calling or texting her with whatever questions we had, in fact we still don’t! I didn’t get to have a natural birth as I’d hoped for, due to baby’s position, but Brandi was with me through the entire labor (44 hours) and beyond! Helping and encouraging with natural methods through it all. She made me feel supported and comfortable in every decision that I made. I’m happy to say that Brandi has turned into a great friend as well. I would more than recommend Brandi to every pregnant mama I know! Thank you so much for everything Brandi, my little family is so grateful that we have you!

I could NOT have done this birth or pregnancy without Brandi. She was absolutely incredible from the get go. Very honest about herself and wants to make sure that in picking a doula, that you pick the right match. She not only was my doula but has turned into a genuine friend. I never, ever felt like i could not call or text her with any kind of question or concern that I had. During my actual birth, she helped me TREMENDOUSLY in reaching my goal of having a natural birth and I never could have done it without her. I am very excited about her attending more and more births and can't wait to hear how things are going to be for her in a few years. Thank you Brandi, for everything! I truly am so grateful for you!!!
