Working with Colleen has been a wonderful experience. This was my first baby, and I really had no clue what I was doing. Colleen has been invaluable resource for me. She helped me with breastfeeding, bathing my baby, and other important baby basics. Most importantly, she provided much needed support. She is worth her weight in gold. I highly recommend her.

Simply, I am nothing short of amazed by the level of professionalism, passion and warm hearted kindness that Colleen has displayed to my family and I. Welcoming my son into this world was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. As new parents my wife and I had no idea what to expect. Everyone …and I mean everyone had so much info to give, so many tips, so many ideas, what works and what doesn't. It started to become overwhelming. At times, my wife and I were just looking for a baseline, looking for something that just made sense – it seemed so easy. It was not as easy as it seems. As my wife was dealing with the typical emotional ups and downs of the after birth, I struggled to help. Colleen came into our home, and started with the basics. Assertive, she shared her real life experiences, what worked for her and what she has seen work with others. We all sat down together to not only discuss but to practice care-giving, she listened and processed what we were going through before telling us what we “needed” to do. She bridged the gap of the unknown to understanding that no matter what, our son is loved and we are there to take care of him. As we felt confident together as a family, Colleen helped make the day to day care of our new little one smoother. If it was as simple as her helping bathe our son, show different styles of breast feeding, how to hold him if he seemed fussy or gassy these little things all came together to restore our loving harmony at home.We love hearing from our friends and family what has worked and what hasn't. Having Colleen available and in our home to help, eased the stress and really allowed us to take a deep breath and know that we can do this. It was like a security blanket, a listener, a well-educated person that has witnessed what has and has not worked – we highly recommend Colleen!

I have 3 children and I had Colleen's help with all of them. After my first child was born, it was so nice to have the knowledge and support of Colleen. I had had a C-Section and she really helped to make nursing comfortable and helped me to take care of myself for better recovery. Then, she was there again after my daughter was born via VBAC. I had difficulty getting her to latch when nursing. Colleen was again so helpful and supportive throughout. I believe I stuck with nursing because of her. I had my 3rd child. He was another VBAC, and had some difficulty latching. She helped me to have paitence to keep trying to breastfeed, and have the paitence to get through sleep deprivation. It was such a huge help to have the knowledge, support and guidence of someone who genuinely cared and wanted what was best for my child, my family and I. I would highly recommend her to anyone having a child, no matter if it is your 1st or 4th. She offers great postpartum help!
