We hired Michelle when our baby girl was about 6-7 weeks old. I basically needed an extra set of hands to hold and rock my daughter during her extremely fussy evening hours. Michelle was that and so much more.

First of all, she has a way of holding a baby that totally puts a baby at ease and eventually to sleep. My daughter did not like to be held by anyone except mommy, but Michelle quickly gained her trust, and I - an opportunity to take a shower.

Also, Michelle was extremely helpful with some of my breastfeeding issues. This is my second time breastfeeding, and I thought I know it all. But each baby is so different, that I did find myself in a new territory. So if you do breastfeed, I highly recommend lactation consultation to take advantage of her vast knowledge and experience. It is probably covered by your insurance, ours was.

Michelle will go above and beyond to help a new mom. She is a very busy lady, but if you need her, she will find a way to be there for you.

I highly recommend Michelle as a doula, as a lactation consultant, and simply as a wonderful person to have around. We were very lucky to have met her.

Michelle’s support was a godsend to our family. We worked with her as a postpartum doula when our son was first born. She was so supportive and helpful in our transition to parenthood. She also spotted an oversupply issue with breastfeeding that caused tummy upset and sleepless nights. Her LC support gave our son the opportunity to become a great sleeper and show his charming personality! We are so very thankful for her wisdom and support.

Michelle is wonderful! She was both my post-partum doula and lactation consultant following the birth of my first daughter in July 2017 and the birth of second daughter in April 2019. She is very knowledgeable, accommodating, accessible and helpful. She was fabulous with both of my girls, and it was comforting to know they were in good, experienced hands. I highly recommend Michelle!

Michelle is a wonderful doula. I had a unique situation where I needed immediate last minute help with my 4 month old twins due to a sudden illness in the family. I had used a doula previously who couldn't continue due to similar issues. I was really in a bind and Michelle came to our rescue and helped me get some sleep when I needed it most. She helped us on overnights and it was great - I got sleep and knew the boys were in good hands. Michelle was always professional, polite, friendly and helpful - I would highly recommend. I was no longer breastfeeding but know that she's very knowledgeable about that subject. Honestly, if you are looking for a postpartum doula, you can't go wrong with Michelle!

Michelle took care of our newly expanded family with love and care. She taught us when we wanted to learn. She gave us hope when we, well mainly I, felt helpless. She empowered me to be the mom I wanted to be. Yes, she did the laundry and dishes, as well as stayed with our daughter while she slept, so I could sleep in between feeds at night. But, honestly, she provided so much more. When Michelle started with us, my husband and I were scared, sleep-deprived first-time parents. She was the calming force who turned a very nervous new mom into a confident, very capable, self-assured mom. My husband and I would recommend Michelle to any parent looking for a postpartum doula. In fact, if/when we have our second child, she will be one of our first calls.

I broke my hand a month after I had my son, which made it very difficult to care for my newborn. Michelle was referred to me by my birth doula and when I met her, I knew right away that she was the one. She has a very laid-back and calm demeanor which was a great fit for us. Michelle helped us get through a very tough time and I am very thankful to have had her help. I would recommend her to any family that is looking for a postpartum doula.

I was diagnosed with a prolapse 14 months after my son was born and Michelle really helped with belly binding to support my abdominal area. I didn't start working with Michelle until she started nannying for my son when he was 9 months old. I wish she had been my post partum doula.

She is an awesome vegan cook and made great food for us after getty my son to nap. She makes elderberry syrup to support our immune systems. She's well versed in baby wearing and is studying to be an IBLBC so was helpful with breastfeeding questions. She does placenta encapsulation (which my midwife's asst did for me and is a great service!) She is wonderful. I wished I'd known her earlier in my son's life to benefit from her services when he was a newborn and I highly reccomend her!

I interviewed Michelle for a night nurse position to care for our newborn twin boys. We made an immediate connection, and I knew that she was going to be able to provide supportive guidance while being mindful of my preferences related to their care. Michelle has a very calm demeanor, which bodes well for screaming babies. While she only worked for us for a couple of nights (due to me solely breastfeeding, and our boys not getting up often enough during her shift), I wish we had had the opportunity to work together longer.  I would recommend her and would hire her again in the future for either night nursing or daytime help.

Michelle was a huge help to me and my husband with the birth of our first child. I had little to no experience with newborns and Michelle offered me just the knowledge and reassurance I needed during this whirlwind of a time. I appreciated her laidback demeanor and wisdom which matched my personality and household well. Michelle is studying to be a lactation consultant which was a total asset during these first weeks home with our boy. It was also evident from her input that she had many years of experience with families and babies. I think she would be a great fit with any family looking for support!

Michelle was awesome! She was always on time, and helped me with everything and anything! She would go home and send me e-nails with research about any questions I had asked her regarding everything from breastfeeding to skin care to bathing etc. she was an incredible support to me during a very crazy time and she fit right in with my husband and I, and helped us to become a better team. She has a relaxed vibe which is very good to have around during a stressful and emotional time!! She always had great suggestions and took great care of my son!
