Maria joined my husband and I after a series of unexpected events caused us to part ways with our original doula very close to the end of my pregnancy. I was in a vulnerable place making this switch around 36 weeks pregnant. I was nervous about pivoting so late in the game and worried I wouldn't have the opportunity to build a relationship with so little time remaining until birth.
Maria entered the situation with warmth, knowledge, kindness, understanding, attentiveness, humor, and a willingness to provide whatever I needed to feel comfortable both leading up to and during giving birth.
I had a ridiculously long and difficult 40 hour labor. We called on Maria around hour 10 and she remained by our sides at home, the birth center, and hospital after an unexpected transfer never leaving my side and providing exceptional support and encouragement for both my partner and I all over 30 hours.
During the course of my labor she arrived prepared with a variety of tools to help make me comfortable, got food and drinks for me, provided hands on relief, talked through difficult decision making, and took many beautiful photos and videos that I will cherish for my whole life. Leading up to my birth she was available to me at the drop of a hat. She made herself available by call or text anytime of day or night, and we checked in once per week following every weekly appointment.
Though my experience with her was short, she went so above and beyond all expectations. She helped me mentally and physically prepare and get through a marathon birth that felt like it would never end. If you are considering working with her, you absolutely won't be disappointed. We couldn't have asked for better. Thank you Maria! We will never forget you and you will always be a part of the most special moment of our lives.

We had a great experience working with Maria and Ashley for our first birth and postpartum period. Both were extremely kind and responsive and Ashley was not only came as soon as we asked her to join us at the hospital but stayed throughout my 48 hr+ labor and still maintained a positive and kind attitude. We deeply appreciated the service and are so glad we got to welcome our little boy with their help.

Hiring a doula for the birth of our fourth baby — especially after experiencing a 16-week loss due to complications from Trisomy 21 — was one of the best decisions we could have made.
This pregnancy came with a lot more emotion, anxiety, and vulnerability than our others, and Ashley and Silver understood that from day one. They didn’t just support me physically — they held space for everything that came with pregnancy after loss. I never felt silly, dramatic, or dismissed when I needed reassurance. They met every fear and every question with compassion, patience, and steady calm.
Their knowledge is incredible, but what truly sets them apart is their presence. Ashley has this grounding, peaceful energy that made me feel safe in moments that otherwise could have felt overwhelming. She knew exactly when to step in with comfort measures, when to offer encouragement, and when to simply be a quiet, reassuring presence. It felt like she was protecting my birth space.
Because of Ashley, this birth felt healing in a way I didn’t know was possible. After loss, you carry so much into the next experience — and she helped turn what could have been filled with fear into something empowering, supported, and even peaceful.
We are forever grateful for their care, their heart, and the way they walk alongside families during such sacred, emotional moments. I recommend both Silver and Ashley without hesitation — especially to any parent navigating pregnancy after loss.

Maria's experience with breastfeeding was essential to getting us through a difficult time. She supported my wife in a way that only helped build her confidence. Her practical help around the home was also very beneficial and allowed us to focus more on bonding with our baby.
