"I don't know... we should ask Erin." These are the words my husband and I said over and over to each other as we prepared for the birth of our first baby and for weeks after she was born. Text, phone or an email, we felt 100% confident and comfortable reaching out to Erin who we hired for our doula late in the pregnancy. We've said it more than once how glad we are that she came into our lives!

Warm, kind, gentle, Erin is a fabulous doula, lactation consultant, and massage therapist... not to mention woman, mother and all around person. We met with her a few times before the birth to get to know each other, walk through what labor and deliverly might look like, and talk about life after baby. Erin led a relaxed but informative conversation at our kitchen table over a mug of tea. It was perfect. She made us feel relaxed, safe, and assured that we could do this! She did not push her beliefs on us (although we shared most of the same) as we made decisions and we never felt judged or dumb for asking her millions of questions.

Erin's postpartum care was fabulous as well: being a sense of calm after a chaotic experience post-delivery, visiting us multiple times in the hospital, bringing food to the house, and texting/calling to check in. We felt so loved and cared for, like she was part of our little family.

Bottom line: Hiring Erin was one of the best decisions we've ever made as a couple. She provided a sense of ease and assuredness at a time in our lives when we needed more advice and guidance than what our family and friends could provide. Her experience and expertise were just as valuable as the calm yet confident presence she brought to our birth experience.

Having Erin be a part of my pregnancy and birth experience was the best decision I could have made! She was very easy to connect with during our prenatal meetings and gave very helpful information. I felt confortable asking any and all questions and she has great answers. I got the package with the prenatal and postnatal massages, they were wonderful. Erin was in contact more frequently 2 weeks leading up to my due date and as we got very close, I was able to call or text with any question or concern I had. When I was in early labor, I was in contact with her and she gave me advice over the phone and then when I felt things were getting more intense, she came to my house to assist me as labor picked up. She was so calm and caring from the moment she got there. We got to the hospital at 8 pm and she was with me all night long until my baby was born the next morning at 11. She encouraged me to be strong, mindful and patient with the process. She guided my husband on how he can help and comfort me as well, which was a very necessary for him to feel like he was doing all he could. She was so genuinely caring about me and has such encouraging words right when I needed them. She suggested different positions to try and keep me cofortable and advocated for me to the nurses as to what steps were being taken and why. I could not have had such a positive, unmedicated and mindful birth experinece if I didnt have Erin by my side. She truely was a blessing to have and her support and knowledge is what got me through some of the tough moments. She also visted baby and me at home a few days later and it felt like I was sitting in my livingroom with a friend. I really appreciated all she did for me.

Erin was an invaluable presence during Shea's birth. Her presence was calming, affirming, supportive and genuine. Her services included: a prenatal massage, two prenatal meetings, she was on call for 2 weeks before and after my due date, she came to our home and I labored here for a while, she was at the hospital throughout the entire birth providing encouraging words, technique tips, massage, aromatherapy, facilitated communication between us and the hospital staff, two postnatal meetings in our home where she provided lactation advice, a post natal massage, and she brought us dinner; all for an extremely reasonable price. In fact, I won't hesitate to say that Erin was the best money we ever spent. I already sent an email to my friends praising Erin's work and I wholeheartedly recommend her to you.
