My experience with Jamie was a great one this was my third pregnancy and possibly my last. My plan was to do things differently this time around and that included having a water birth! I was so set on having a water birth towards the end I became a tad scared and when I felt scared or uncertain she was only a text a way and always got right back with me no matter the time of day or night. She sent many links to help ease me. I went over my  predicted due date and the week prior I was so ready as for the weeks prior but the last week I was in so much pain. She kept telling me it’s only a short time till you meet your son and it’s a lot shorter time than you’ve already spent waiting which was true. My water was actually broke in the hospital and was planned to be broke I let her know that my second birth was only four hours both of my first were induced so no telling how this would go. She insured me that if I wanted her there when we got to the hospital she would be, she came just shortly after my midwife broke my water and I was in the tub but she made it on time ! The last two pregnancies I had a hard time breathing through the labor but this time I was able to breathe through the pain as best as I could and she was by my side the whole time without pushing anyone including my husband out of the way. She kept me calm while I thought I couldn’t do it she along with my team of supporters helped me through. She stayed for a while after my son was born to keep an eye on me and how I was feeling knowing I had hip problems was Continuously asking how I was doing how I was feeling. Overall I would recommend Jamie and if I ever did get pregnant again I would definitely return to Jamie for all the support that she gave

For my second birth I knew I wanted to have a better birth plan since my husband works out of state. I met with Jamie and instantly liked her calm, no pressure demeanor. We went over my birth plan, goals, and stayed connected throughout the pregnancy. The night my water broke, I called her and she met us at the hospital right on time. She was so amazing during Labor-she listened to me, she was there for me to physically lean on, offered words of encouragement, was firm with me when I needed that push to believe I could get through, and praised the progress I was making. She encouraged me, and physically helped me move into multiple positions during labor which helped tremendously. When it was time to push, she was right there with encouragement and support.

i am SO GLAD I found her!  Her support and Care was priceless-a virtual stranger yet she was so personal, caring and supportive of me In such a vulnerable time!  My whole birth experience was vastly different and better having her a part of it

I highly recommend Jamie to anyone wanting personal supportive care during pregnancy, labor and delivery, And postpartum care!

Jamie was our doula for the birth of our first child. She met with us three times in our home, leading up to labor and checked in with us regulary in the weeks leading up to birth to see how we were doing. When I went into labor, Jamie was able to meet us at the hospital within minutes of us notifying her. She showed an incredible amount of wisdom and experience throughout my labor, providing very helpful physical, mental and emotional support. She was also a great birth partner with my husband, helping provide him guidance and also allowing him to take the lead at times in supporting me when he was interested in doing so. We especially appreciated her ability to help me get started with breastfeeding within the first hour following the birth.

Jamie also acted as a great liason with hospital staff and partner with our midwife. One week following our birth, Jamie met with us in our home to check in on us and provide feedback on any basic questions we had related to adjusting to life with a newborn. We would highly recommend Jamie as a doula!

I hired Jamie a my post partum doula when circumstances changed that prevented family from being with me consistently the first two weeks after I gave birth. I felt immense relief that first day post partum when Jamie showed up, made sure I had breakfast and plenty of water nearby, and then started cleaning my kitchen, putting away food people had brought, running the dishwasher, starting a load of laundry, and taking the baby for an hour so I could rest. I don't know how I would have survived those 48 hours without her help. She instinctively knew what needed to be done. I would highly recommend hiring Jamie if you're in the area!

Jamie was our doula for the birth of our first child. Through the entire process, she was caring knowledgeable and very kind. We met with Jamie in our home three times before the birth. During these sessions she helped us finalize our birth plan, checked in about our emotional and physical well-being and even provided a reiki session to help me relax. The baby was not in an optimal position and she helped us try to rotate her.

In the weeks leading up to the birth Jaime contacted us via text message and email several times to make sure everything was on track. Labor started late at night and despite living 45 minutes away, Jamie arrived at the hospital within an hour. Labor lasted 23 hours and Jaime was by our side the entire time. She allowed my partner to take breaks and reminded him to eat. She constantly gave encouraging words, suggesting different positions and rubbing my back. Throughout, she was always helpful but never intrusive and always respectful of our decisions, even when the necessity made plans change. She continued to express interest and care about our new family after the birth and visited us a week later for a post-partum checkup.

Overall, Jamie was a fantastic doula, supporting both of us in all of the ways we needed. We would highly recommend her!

Jamie was my doula for my second child. During my first labor, it was difficult that my midwife had to be in and out to attend other patients. Having the extra support person there all the time was really helpful with this labor. Jamie was very supportive and encouraging and helped prompt me to try changing positions when I was too distracted to think of it. She was both physically and emotionally supportive to myself and my husband. My husband also appreciated having her to help with giving support to both of us. I highly recommend using a doula and choosing Jamie if you are in the area!
